Challenge

Egypt Foods Group, a leading FMCG manufacturer, needed more visibility into its energy usage in its new production complex to reduce waste, manage costs and enable operational decisions based on data.

Solution

With the ABB Ability™ Energy Management System Solution, ARC Technologies has established the basis for real-time energy monitoring, analysis of performance and energy efficiency based on up-to-date information. Sinai Cement – LV Panels & Conveyor Automation

Challenge

Sinai Cement required a strong automation system to guarantee precise material handling, consistent conveyor operation, and system safety in a harsh production condition.

Solution

We engineered and supplied a fully automated LV panel with customized control logic and safety features. The installation and commissioning took place in a smooth manner and has been high dependable operation ever since, serving flow production without interruption.

Sun Misr and Cooperation Petroleum - MCC Supply & Commissioning

Challenge

Leading oil and gas operators, such as Cooperation Petroleum Company, needed a reliable motor control platform to maintain steady operations and safe power delivery.

Solution

We delivered MCCs, service panels, and soft starters and went on to full on-site commissioning. The teams at this point ran with no issues, confirming a reliable motor control and efficiency of operation throughout the organization.

Variable Speed Drives at Western Desert Operations - The General Petroleum Co. (GPC)

Challenge

Extreme temperatures and dust in a remote oil field location required the development of a high-performance drive system that could stay on-line in spite of the extreme environment.

Solution

We were awarded the contract to supply variable speed drives for GPC in the Western Desert. Designed and built at ARC and installed by its own specialist team, the systems ensured reliability and operational robustness in a demanding environment.

Rod El Farag Water Station – Infrastructure Reliability Enhancement

Challenge

An essential water distribution station run by Cairo Water Authority needed system upgrades in its transformers to enhance reliability without disrupting water service to tightly-packed urban areas.

Solution

We performed a complete MV transformer replacement with minimal service disruption and full cooperation of the station engineers. The upgraded system now provides higher stability and runs an uninterruptible water supply.

New Giza PLAYA – Securing Long-Term Electrical Reliability

Challenge

High-quality medium voltage infrastructure is thus required by large housing projects to provide a continuous supply of electricity and to produce the equipment for a long term.

Solution

At New Giza’s PLAYA compound, ARC carried out full MV switchgear and kiosk maintenance. The “cure” brought back 100% functionality and reliable power distribution over the compound.

Carrefour City Center Almaza – Emergency Power Restoration

Challenge

After a serious fire in the electrical room, Carrefour required an urgent power system restoration to be able resume operations in a safe manner with minimum downtime.

Solution

In record time, we disassembled, refitted, tested and reinstalled the compromised distribution boards. In under two weeks, the campus was safely returned to the grid, re-establishing stable operations and exemplifying the rapid-response engineering services ARC provides.

Lake View Plaza Mall – Reliable Power for Commercial Infrastructure

Challenge

A plot of land was sold for a new retail project in New Cairo and a reliable power distribution system that meets the specification of the engineering and the long term operation was needed.

Solution

We designed, manufactured and integrated all LV panels for the project, achieving safe distribution, system compatibility and full conformance with the electrical design requirements enabling the development to meet its long-term performance and reliability targets.
